Patron of Prayas
Become a Patron
For over 20 years, Prayas has run almost entirely on aroha, volunteer energy, and the generosity of people who believe in South Asian stories. Patronage is how we keep making theatre that matters.
Why It Matters
Patrons make the work possible
Prayas Theatre is a registered charity with no permanent venue, no paid staff, and no government salary line. What we do have is two decades of award-worthy productions, a community of passionate artists, and audiences who keep coming back.
Your patronage goes directly to what matters: rehearsal space, costumes, set design, artist development, and keeping ticket prices accessible for everyone. When you become a patron of Prayas, you are not just donating — you are investing in culture.
