Workshops & Artist Development
Prayas runs community workshops and development programmes to nurture South Asian performing arts talent in Aotearoa. From acting workshops to directing masterclasses, we create opportunities to learn and grow.
Past workshops have included puppeteering with Ella Becroft, introduction to masks with Regan Taylor, and short script development programmes.

Prayas Theatre runs almost entirely on volunteer energy. Behind every production is a dedicated team of people giving their time — from stage management to marketing, front-of-house to costume design.
