By special invitation from Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED), Prayas gathered a troupe of twenty actors to present a unique event for the Diwali Festival.
This high voltage drama, played in street theatre style, resulted in a complete makeover of CBD’s Queen Street. Clueless Aucklanders joined a vibrant wedding procession, resplendent with a palanquin. And then came the Great Bride Robbery!
