Sudeepta Vyas

Sudeepta Vyas co-founded Prayas Theatre in 2005 alongside Amit Ohdedar, and has been the organisation’s operational backbone for two decades.

Mumbai-born and Auckland-based, Sudeepta has performed in numerous productions — including A Fine Balance, Charandas Chor, Rudali, Swabhoomi, Love N’ Stuff and Pitārā — while simultaneously driving the company’s marketing, publicity, and brand identity. She is instrumental in designing Prayas’s media campaigns and has shaped the organisation’s public presence from its earliest days.

Beyond her on-stage and marketing contributions, Sudeepta is known for building the welcoming, community-rooted culture that defines Prayas.
