Sayanti is an Indian born, NZ singer- songwriter as well as a sales professional.

She has been a part of Prayas since 2005, working in different capacities throughout the years (ushering, back stage assistance, singer, music curation).

In 2013, she coordinated a live band and assisted in the direction of music for ‘Rudali: The Mourner’ at the Herald Theatre in Auckland. Thereafter, she worked as a singer/ music director/ assistant music director for other Prayas projects such as ‘Charandas Chor’ 2014, ‘White nights’ 2015, ‘Love n stuff’ 2016, and others.

She believes music has the power to heal, bridge worlds and create magic in story-telling and is determined to make Prayas band an integral part of all Prayas projects.
