About the Random Acts of Christmas
Following the successful inaugural Random Acts of Christmas Programme on Auckland city streets in December 2009, STAMP at THE EDGE in association with Heart of the City/ The BIG Little City staged a second 2010 season.
The BIG Little City’s distinctive fusion of Pacific, European and Asian cultures, together with its geographic location, maritime heritage, people and contemporary youthfulness provide an ideal backdrop for this series of eclectic, engaging and entertaining encounters that will reflect, and have the potential to redefine, audiences’ perspective of their city.
Random Acts of Christmas is a programme of free street performances that will provide opportunities for the public to interact with high quality, contemporary live music, theatre and dance in unexpected ways over six days at the height of the festive season when crowds are at their peak.
